Due to the growth of Massarius we are looking for an analytical and eager to learn Quantitative Analyst who analyses trends and developments and sets pricing for the company, preferably using Python and SQL.
In this role you will be part of the publishers team that aims to facilitate publishers as much as possible in the automated sale of advertising space. In this fascinating role you analyze trends and developments which you translate into concrete and consistent insights by means of collecting and analyzing market, product and customer data.
Your challenge consists of making analyses, providing insight, preparing decisions,
contribution to the preparation of proposals to advertisers, trading desks and buyers. You analyze various data in order to support strategic decisions and the expected revenue.
You have a proactive role and will be responsible for
inventorying the information needs of, for and with the online publishers;
increasing the general level of knowledge within the team to strengthen sales;
having contact with foreign partners and client trading desks.
making a forecast of new publishers and/or buyers;
making performance reports and analyses.
Our ideal candidate has a university level of work and thinking with 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience, with at least sevens for science subjects. You are a curious, critical self-starter who
- has great interest in online and latest digital trends;
- has a strong analytical ability, which is a real requirement for this role;
- has extensive experience with Excel and preferably also PYTHON, R, SQL, Access or SPSS;
- loves data and reports and can work very accurately;
- is flexible in offering solutions and tenacious in quality.

This space is sold through an programmatic auction, where an advertiser can bid on the available advertising space, and the highest bidding advertiser wins the adspace, also known as Programmatic Trading.
Massarius was founded in 2012, is growing 30%-40% YoY and we pop-up in many Fast Growing lists like FD Gazellen, Financial Times, NL Top 250! The offices in the center of Amsterdam and Madrid have 15 employees. Clients are Dutch and Spanish news and commerce sites. Beslist.nl, Pathé, Nederland.fm, DeSpeld, AjaxShowtime, AT5 / Periodista Digital, El Espanol and Delivery Media.
